What time does the event start?

Friday 4pm , Saturday 12noon and Sunday we are in castle grounds from 2pm on 9th – 12noon on 16th and its FREE entry in all day Monday to Wednesday, theres lots going on!.

Seating: You are welcome to bring small picnic blankets and small camping chairs.

Picnics and Drinks: You are NOT allowed to bring your own food and drinks as this is a licensed area.

Options: there will still be local street food vendors and licensed bars open inside the Oystermouth Castle Grounds – all pub and cafe prices.

NO Dogs allowed except for assistance only

Tickets: Even though entry is free, you must still claim a free ticket in advance to secure entry via the official Retro Wales Website – tickets are limited when available

Can we bring dogs to the castle over event weekend?

Yes, well behaved, on a lead and under control – with well behaved owners 🐶

Can we bring out own chairs, seating, picnic blankets?

Yes, please bring chairs, seating and blankets as to keep the ticket pice low we haven’t booked many benches

Can we bring our own food and drink into the castle grounds over the event?

No, please use the businesses in the castle grounds. The grounds are a licensed premises

Is it really ABBA and OASIS?

You never know!!

Can we pay by card on the door at castle events?

Yes card payment is fine. Also card payment for the ‘Blow up zone’ for families – £5 gets you a wrist band which is an all day pass to the play area – Silent Disco is also £3 adults and free to kids wit wristbands – card preferred

Do we have to pay for the children’s entertainment?

Is there bars and food vendors?

Yes, food and bars – including our very own local partners in crime Mumbles Brewery – pub prices
